Through the wilderness

Thanks for all the congratulations! I feel sick as a dog but I'm trying to remember to be thankful for that. The only pregnancy I've had where I didn't feel so bad was the one I miscarried. That tends to make me think that sick=good. However, being nauseated is the thing I hate the most. I feel so discouraged and I lack motivation when I feel this way. I just want to be unconscious or totally absorbed in a book or reading SOMETHING online. Obviously that doesn't fit in very well in a homeschooling home with kids ages 2-11. So I have to find my way though this. Actually, I know that I don't have to find my way, I just have to follow the One Who already has the way mapped out for me.

Remember this song?:

"My Lord knows the way through the wilderness,
All I have to do is follow, strength for today is mine always
And all that I need for tomorrow.
My Lord knows the way through the wilderness
All I have to do is follow."

Believe me, it'll be over before you know it.

Cindee, everytime I visit your blog, I hope to read about a new pregnancy and today here it is! Praise God! Congrats, and I pray that all goes well!

Bless you! You've done it before, you can do it again!
I found the pregnancies I was most nauseous were the one I was also dealing with dehydration. With my first 3 babies I had to go in and get "plumped up" with an IV. So helpful!
Thankfully not with the last two. I guzzled gallons of pink grapefruit juice during the first trimester with my, now, 4 1/2 yo, and craved club soda during the first trimester with my, now, 2 yo.
Anyway...that may not be an issue for you, but wanted to encourage you to keep hydrated if it could be of help to you.

Thank-you for your sweet encouragement, ladies. I appreciate it. I'm trying to remember to keep myself well-hydrated. I know I don't drink enough water in the first place so it's a very good reminder!

Amen, friend- I know the symptoms are hard to take, especially with home-schooling your other children and being a helpmeet, but it's also definitely something to be thankful for! I remember that this last pregnancy, I didn't have any symptoms either, so I'll be glad to be heaving into the toilet next time! ;)
I am praying for you through this time! Thank you also for your kind words of encouragement- I so needed them. (((Cindee)))
